Fishing Report

Want to know where the crappie are biting?  Where to find the biggest stripers?  Which bait the catfish are hitting?  Check out our Field & Streams Fishing Report.  We’ll do our best to keep you up-to-date on all the area lakes and fishing holes!

Twin Buttes Reservoir

04-09-2019  Crappie are good on minnows. Try along the dam and around the cage area.  The lake has changed this last year so the patterns are a little different.  The area on the south side of the north pool has been good in the previous years and should be good now.  Black bass are starting to spawn in shallow water 3-10 ft.  Try a Texas rig using lizards or craws and a wacky rig using Senkos or Trickworms.  Spinner baits are a good choice this time of year too.

Lake Nasworthy

04-09-2019  Try the grass beds and reeds along the dam and shallow waters for bass.  Same baits for Nasworthy as Twin Buttes.  The rivers are a good place to relax under the shade trees fishing for catfish.  Grassy Meadows and the park around the Horseshoe are always relaxing and great for fishing.  Catfish and bass are good in these areas.

Lake O.C. Fisher

04-09-2019  Fishing along the dam has been good for crappie and catfish. Minnows are working good for crappie.  Minnows and cut bait are good for Catfish.  We also have Danny Kings punch bait, J.Piggs stink bait, large selection of Magic Bait Co. and Catfish Charlie blood bait.
